Kathryn Cabunoc One of Kathryn's first memories is of watching a very loud and spirited taiko group pass by during an obon festival. That momentary experience of excitement, energy and power is still with her. Twenty years later, after finishing her degree in creative writing, she found herself trying to write about music, only to suffer from a horrible bout of writer's block. In an attempt to alleviate this, she decided to give taiko a try. Immediately hooked, Kathryn currently teaches taiko at Rhythmix Cultural Works but is still searching for the right words to describe the joy of it!
