Filmmaking for Kids/Teens

Lights, Camera, Action!
A filmmaking introduction class focused on re-envisioning old favorites--think of a 10 minute Jaws, Star Wars or Titanic. Kids will be introduced to the basics of preproduction, performance, and postproduction when they join “Big Time Productions”. Teens will be responsible for creating a making-of documentary as well as shooting, editing and special effects techniques. All equipment will be provided. Get acquainted with filmmaking in this fun, ten week workshop. The series concludes with a one night screening of the finished projects for family and friends.

Kids (ages 9-12) Saturdays 2:00-3:30

Teens (ages 13-16) Saturdays 2:30-4:00
