Terrie Odabi Wright

At the age of 16 Terrie was already performing in Bay Area clubs and theaters. She developed her fluent and vibrant vocal style, studying with John Patton, Phil Reader and renowned jazz pianist Bill Bell. Terrie has been lead singer for the acappella group Umoja, and performed for Nelson Mandela's historic US visit. She was featured as principal singer and dancer with the Ogene Ensemble Dance Company, and her unique talent has put her in the spotlight with Nightlife and Lenny Williams. Terrie currently has her own group the Terrie Wright Jazz Quartet.
