We’ve all had ideas that had unanticipated consequences; we’ve all made plans that have gone awry. Here’s your chance to tell your story of the perfect idea, of the perfect event, that didn’t end up as planned. In other words, “It seemed like a good idea at the time…”

Raise Your Voice is a “story slam”, a live storytelling event during which participants can share a true story.

Theme

Participants will have the opportunity to tell or read aloud a personal story (maximum of five minutes) based on the theme: “It seemed like a good idea at the time…”
